St Anthony’s Girls’ Catholic Academy is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved the nationally recognised Quality in Careers Standard, highlighting the school’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance for all students.

The assessment praised the school’s careers curriculum and inclusive and aspirational culture, where all learners are actively encouraged to explore a wide range of future pathways. Through personalised guidance and targeted interventions, St Anthony’s supports every student to achieve their ambitions while challenging stereotypes and raising aspirations. Students demonstrate growing confidence in understanding their options and pathways, and their feedback plays an important role in shaping and improving careers provision across the school.

The school was further commended for its strong partnerships with employers, universities, colleges, apprenticeship providers and external agencies. These relationships provide students with meaningful encounters and clear progression routes, helping them make informed decisions about their futures.

Laura Dudley, Assistant Headteacher and Careers Leader at St Anthony’s Girls’ Catholic Academy, said: “We are delighted to receive the Quality in Careers Standard. This achievement reflects the dedication of our staff, the strength of our partnerships, and our commitment to ensuring every student is fully prepared for their next steps. We will continue to build on this success to provide the very best opportunities for our young people.”

This award marks an important milestone for St Anthony’s Girls’ Catholic Academy, and reaffirms its commitment to delivering a high-quality, inclusive and forward-thinking careers programme.
