Every Lesson Outstanding – After several successful sessions Beacon Teaching Alliance based at St Anthony’s Academy is hosting more sessions.  The course is suitable for teachers at any stage of their career who want to develop their practice in the classroom.  Dates to be released soon.

Spanish Upskilling for Primary Teachers – Here is another opportunity designed from Primary staff in teaching languages at Primary level.  Delivered by a MFL specialist with materials provided.  Dates to be released soon.

The Beacon Teaching Alliance based at St Anthony’s Academy is working with L4NE to deliver the new accredited government professional development programmes.  L4NE has many years’ experience of successfully delivering these programmes and they are open to both Primary and Secondary colleagues.  Please click here for the flyer for the NPQSL, which will begin in September/October 2019.  If you would like further information please feel free to get in touch with us.

Teacher Subject Specialism Training in Mathematics – After the successful sessions which ran last year, we are pleased to offer another opportunity to attend the FREE course designed to improve Mathematics subject knowledge of non-specialist teachers.  Click here  for the flyer.

Beacon Teaching Alliance is one of six secondary Teaching Schools working in collaboration with the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle Department for Education . The programme is targeted at four levels of aspiring leaders: headteachers, deputy headteachers, assistant headteachers and middle leaders.
