Girls of all abilities, in our inclusive and mixed ability academy, have been very successful across all subject areas showing a continued trend of achievement and progress over many decades at St. Anthony’s.

As well as achieving academic success, the class of 2017 have also participated in extensive opportunities to become involved in charitable fund raising, volunteering, sport, musical theatre, choir, Duke of Edinburgh Award as well as numerous educational visits. The academy community places great emphasis upon broadening horizons and encouraging all our students, and staff, to join in many and varied opportunities available locally, nationally and internationally.

This year alone we have taken part in hundreds of different events, locally and internationally eg. girls have made regular visits to local care homes to sing for elderly patients, staff have delivered lectures at the University of Linnaeus (Sweden) as part of our Teaching School programme and we have visited partner schools in India and China and received return visits. We have also been very busy totally refurbishing and rebuilding the academy on the current site providing first rate, 21st century facilities.

Yours sincerely,

Monica Shepherd (Mrs)
